Would think that both Clive Cox's runners today at Kempton have really good chances (7.10, 8.10) , not only is Cox stable bang in form , but Kirby makes the long journey down after 2 rides at Nottingham to ride them

Loads Tom. Do you think thats due to the ground being rock solid? People not wanting to risk jarring up thier horses?

Again a few to catch the eye, althought recently i think its my lazy eye thats doing the spotting, so i put forward for consideration...
2.50 Nottingham - Five Star Junior, 5/1 nap With the ground being on the fast side by the looks of it, that will play more into its hands here. Very consistant at this distance, wont be far away from taking this here...
Also 2.30 Ling - Rubenstar, 5/2 3.10 Bev - Solemn, 12/1 4.10 Bev - Corsicanrun, 4/1 4.40 Bev - Crown Ridge, 10/1 4.50 Nott - French Art, 5/1 7.10 Kemp - Shades Of Grey, 3/1 7.40 Kemp - Tasfeya, 12/1
All in combos of lucky's etc...
Will also post later as the day goes by... Good luck to all today...

Degs, what impact does very firm ground have on the distance margins in sprint races?

Degs, what impact does very firm ground have on the distance margins in sprint races? Thats a difficult question, personally I wouldn't think it would ame that big a difference, due to the fact that most responsible trainers would only leave their horses in a race if they thought they would act on the ground

Nap today is CORSICANRUN in 4.10 Beverley, I think Fahey has found a weakish race for this one to go in today. Plus the Fahey/Hanagan combination have started the season well. And it has been on my list since it's debut run
Others I like the look of today are 2.10 Bev Dabbers Ridge - Has great course form and should get the better of Opus Maximus.
2.20 Nott Choice of Remark - Goes for the inform Evans yard and has already had a race this season where the 4th placed horse has since come out and won comfortably
2.40 Bev One Kool Dude - Again Fahey/Hanagan, ran well on debut at Dundalk where it would have won had it not ran too well and can put that experience to good use.
2.50 Nott - Five Star Junior - Looked very overpriced last night when I was looking at this race. It has winning form and the odds have come in alot since I looked last night.
3.00 Ling Greenflash - The Hannon runner ran green lto and was just caught in the final furlong. Drops in trip today and should help it get it's nose in front.
3.50 Nott Akmal - This race is between Akmal and Free Agent for me and I just prefer Akmal to get it's head in front.
4.00 Ling Dansilver - Has been running well recently over hurdles and on the AW and should have enough to take this race today.
4.30 Ling Far View - Should take all the beating in this race.
6.40 Kemp Roanstar - Has been running well recently and has the scope to win here.
8.10 Kemp Seeking Magic - the cox form is in good heart and as such this horse should win tonight. At a bigger price, it wouldn't surprise me to see Beautiful Lando close up at the business end of the race.
8.40 Kemp - Guildenstern - For no other reason than I backed it lto when it won at big odds, has the ability to go close again but the penalty may just be too much.

Whats the story behind change in numbering of stalls affecting draw bias at a number of tracks?

Afternoon all,
Hope you are well.
Back from sunny Venice where life was stress free, late breakfasts, strolls in the sun, drinking wine in the afternoon and some wonderful food.
Come back home to find the house a mess, kids running wild (the in laws have been feeding them sugar the whole weekend) and now back at work found that nothing has been done whilst I was away.
Sometimes theres just no point in having a holiday!
A no bet day for me today as nothing that a fancy strongly enough to part with my cash.
Good luck with your bets all
