Morning all,
I quite like the look of the cards today, small races and a little easier to pick a winner (be it at short odds).
Today is the type of day when templegate or Tom pepper normally go through the card so will take a close look at those selections today
Good luck all

A mixed bag of racing today, but a few I like the look of. Here are my thoughts on the days racing.
Folkestone This is a no bet meeting for me, as I feel there are likely to be many short priced Favs winning and as I am only going with minimal outlay today, there is no value for me there today in betting in singles, so will hope for a treble of Novabridge (2.30), Marcus Antonius (3.30) and Ya Hafed (5.40)
Southwell The first of the days 2 AW meets and a meeting where there are some interesting Jockey bookings. The first race I like the look of Clear Ice, with the main danger coming from Lucky Art. Course specialist Ingleby Arch runs in the 3.10 but it's odds are likely to prevent it becoming a worthwhile bet.
The 2 year old race is interesting at 3.40 with some good types lining up from stables that do well at Southwell. The one i like though at price is the mount of Hanagan, Bojangle, who could be a solid each way bet at 14's.
The next two races could be won by Sunny Spells, won over course and distance 2 of the last 3 times, and Hill Tribe, who is also ridden by Hanagan. The main threat to both of these winning here would be the Johnston trained Record Breaker and Formulation who is Fortune's only ride of the day.
Taunton Summer jumps returns to Somerset, with a card that is likely to be dominated by short priced favourites. Having said that, they are a few that take my eye here. The opening race is an poor one with most of the entrants having more negatives for backing them than positives and as such is a race to keep stakes to a minimum.
The second race will be won by Qozak, at very restrictive odds. This only loses if it falls. The third race here should be between Vertige Dore and Paddy Partridge, with preference just for the latter. The 6.15 should come down to Kirbys Glen and Thunder Child and as such it may be better to do forecasts in these two races.
The 6.45 is another 4 runner affair where the favourite, Teshali should take all the beating. I won't be touching the Hunters Chase, although I would expect Man From Highworth to win this.
The final race on the card here is an intersting one, and I would be backing Talenti to come up trumps. The yard are still in good form this month and have a good stirke rate with the current jockey up top.
Towcester Another evening Jumps meeting , where again, most of the winners will prbably come at short prices. The opening race is a 4 runner affair, where 3 of the horses have good chances and are hard to seperate so no bet for me.
The King yard would expect Balerina to win the 5.30, however a chance is taken on The Strawberry One, who will hopefully get further than the first obstacle this time. Sara's Simle won well LTO and also cannot be ruled out. The 5 runner 6.00 comes down to a race between Sunny Mullen and Vertige Dore with preference for the former.
The Final three races are hard to call, with French Leave likely to go off a warm favourite in the 6.30, although Golden Button will be close up at the end. The Hunters Chase is one to leave alone as there are two many unknowns about the field whilst the bumper that finishes the card should be between Thomas Crapper and So Fine.
Wolverhampton So we move on to the unpredictable AW meeting at Wolverhampton. Royal Bajan has been tipped up in most papers this morning as the Horse to beat in the opener, and the one I fancy to do this Juarla who has been running well on the AW of late.
The 2,50 is between I Confess, Rubenstar and Captain Loui and as such is a no bet race for me. The 3.20 is a race where I am interested in Spa's Dancer. Granted the selection only has one win to it's name, which came back in September at Kempton, but that race has produced a fair view winners from it and as such it's form is the standout for me.
The 3.50 will come down to Brabazon and Motirani, although you can't rule out Haldibari at an e/w price. The 4.20 is a no bet affair for me, although I wouldn't be surprised to see the Cumani runner win. The same can be said of the 4.55, although I have Iron Green as a nag me horse, but can't remember why.
The final race on the card should go the way of the Johnston horse, Birdwatcher, and it's previous winning form can be confirmed by The Absent mare in the race preceeding this one.
For my Nap, I will go back to Taunton and go with the inform jockey/trainer combination of Longsdon/Woods to bring Talenti home in front in the 7.45.

Yes, thats true. If either gets it wrong though could be a fair bit.
I've brought Wolves (on a spread) and am hoping for a very good start with the hotpot smashing the field over 5F then can take some profit and risk off the table.
