Todays Racing comes from Punchestown, Bath, Catterick, Exeter, Fakenham and Newcastle
Apart from the three Ruth Carr runners, who is winning regularily now, I have one other fancy for tomorrow, personally I will be staying away from the NH Festival in Ireland, for me the NH season ended with the UK season and i dont know enough of the Ireland runners apart from Gordon Elliot is on fire and could be worth following. My selections for tomorrow are:
1545 Newcastle - Frequency 5/2 WIN (NAP) 1720 Newcastle - Beckermet 9/2 WIN (Tissue) and Dahhaman 14/1 EW (Tissue) 1900 Catterick - Frognal 9/2 WIN
Good luck to those who play tomorrow
NAPS
Newcastle 2.10 - Just Like Heaven - ffctom 3.45 - Frequency - Waywardlad 4.45 - Piccoluck - Redcgull
Punchestown 4.20 - Hidden Universe - Bucks 6.40 - Quel Esprit - Famouswise 6.40 - Thegreatjohnbrowne - Odddog

I have one on my nag me list for tomorrow, whichh is Athwaab in the 3.30 Bath, won impressively recently and could be one to run up a sequence of victories. Will be back tomorrow lunchtime with some picks after a good study of the cards during the morning at work

Punchestown
3:40-Outlaw Pete
Was pulled up in a Hunter Chase at Listowell 11 months ago when appearing to be lame. But the genius of understanding horses that is Enda Bolger has revitalised his zest between the flags since,Including when winning the last day.JT in the plate and can take this here for the king of the banks.
4:20-Qilily
Had a terrible passage through the race in a G2 at Aintree last month but still had the rest well beat when finishing behind the FAMOUSWISE tipped Toploski that day.Has never been out of the first 2 over hurdles and can take this here bgetting weight from her main rivals.
4:55-LilyWhiteDancer
Avery strong travelling type who ran a exceptional race on his first start for 2 years when only being beaten 5 lengths behind Pittoni at Leopardstown in Feb.Proberly bounced at Fairyhouse afterwards and can go very close here for David Casey.
5:30-Sizing Europe
He has been inconsistent on some occasions but is a arkle winner and beat most of these in the Champion Chase at Cheltenham. Now they have tactically found the key to him ie riding him very handy making the most of his pin point jumping i can't see anything reversing the form of the champion chase.
6:05-Mr.Carson
is a half-brother to several winners including a fair hurdler in im supposing.Katie gets the ride and will go very close.
6:40-Quel Esprit(NAP)
Was very impressive on chase debut at Limerick in the Autumn but has fallen both chase starts since but was going as good as anything when departing with Paul in the RSA at the festival.Ruby in the plate and will take some stopping if he puts in a clear fluent round.
7:15-Morning Royalty
Willie and the stable have enjoyed lots of fun with this fellas half sister Morning Supreme including in Bumpers.Lurch in the plate but can take this on debut.

I think Ruth Carr's horses are non-runners, because for those who haven't heard, David Chapman (Carr's grandad) died last night. He was the original sprint king with the likes of Quito and all, really good trainer. R.I.P

Morning all, hope everybody is well.
Top, top class action from Punchestown today.
In the Champion Novice Hurdle at 4.20 I am going for a bit of an upset with Il Fenomeno from the Noel Meade stable. He ran a very respectable race on debut in a Grade 2 at Fairyhouse last time when finishing 5th to Prima Vista beaten 9 lengths. He was 7 lengths behind Rathin that day but will hopefully come on for the run and if Carberry doesn't sit too far off the pace with him I think he could go very close. He is certainly the least exposed of the field.
The handicaps look almost impossible to solve but I will have a sporty e/w bet on Neil King's Cheshire Prince in the 4.55.
I think Sizing Europe wins the Champion Chase - Big Zeb and Golden Silver were well held at Cheltenham and I would struggle to find a reason for them to get closer today.
In the Goffs Bumper one that catches my eye is Nina Carberry riding Johannisberger for Noel Meade - the combination have a great record in these events.
For me the race of the day is the Champion Novice Chase at 6.40 and I just have a sneaking feeling for Noel Meade's charge Thegreatjohnbrowne with McCoy on board. Alot of his chief rivals have had a hard race in the last few weeks but he comes here fresh, his last run when beaten 4 lengths by Bostons Angel over christmas. Has a little bit to find with QDLR from that race but just think he comes here the fresher horse and can turn the tables.
Best of luck today everyone.

Punchestown 4.20 - Hidden Universe 4/1 (NAP) He won his maiden hurdle nicely at Leopardstown at Christmas and was a little disappointing in the Deloitte on heavy ground, which probably didn't suit. He was last seen running in the Supreme Novices hurdle at the Cheltenham festival where he finished 42L behind the winner Al Ferof. He has run poorly before at Cheltenham before going on to win the Champion Bumper at last seasons Punchestown festival on good ground., so i see no problem with him putting that run behind him and coming on to win this average G1. He has proven ground and track form and at 4/1 is the one i want to be with in this race. Punchestown 6.40 - Quel Esprit 4/1 Quel Esprit was in the process of running a nice race at Cheletenham before crashing though a fence and coming to grief, it was the 2nd time in a row he has fallen out of his three chase starts. That how ever does not put me off of backing him tomorrow, he will be back at the track where he is 2 from 2, one win in a bumper here and one over hurdles. He has Ruby Walsh back on board and with a clean round must go very close in this race. Best of luck all

Morning All
Had a look through the cards now, here are my picks for today
Bath 3.30 Athwaab - had done all of it's winning on the AW, before winning lto at Nottingham with an impressive turn of foot to get away from the field. Up in the weights for that, but has the scope to be able to rattle up a run of victories on the bounce.
Newcastle 2.10 Just Like Heaven NAP- I don't usually go for backing 2 year olds who have no race experience but this one interests me at a price due to the entries it holds for the future, suggesting it has been doing well at home.
Newcastle 4.45 Anddante - This is the sort of handicap that Easterby can win, this horse was well backed last time and I can see it running a big race today, especially with the outside draw if the bias is to be believed.
Punchestown 5.30 Sizing Europe - Won the Queen Mother impressively at Cheltenham and reopposes 3 of the runners today, but I can't see any of them giving the pick any trouble here.
Punchestown 6.40 Reve Di Sivola - Ticks all the boxes here today in that the ground and trip are right whilst alot of the entries would prefer a bit more juice in the ground.

Morning gents... Hope we are in good spirits today... 4.45 Newcastle - Piccoluck, 4/1 nap 2nd last time out over this CD and with that run only 13 days ago with the same conditions as then, I feel he takes all the beating here... Also - 2.40 Newcastle - Across the Sea, 6/1 3.45 Newcastle - Frequency, 3/1 4.35 Bath - Tap Dance Away, 11/2 6.20 Exeter - Cubism, 7/2 7.00 Catterick - Not My Choice, 16/1 e/w Cheers and good luck to all who play today...
