A dutching bet for me tomorrow both well handicapped and running in the 5.10 Chester NORMAN ORPEN 12/1 with a 7lb claimer on board it takes him down to a useful mark of 82, in all of his outings he has shaped as if he wanted further and hasnt been disgraced when running on over distances of 8 and 9f. The other one is GRANNY MCPHEE 14/1 (NAP) has decent form at Chester and another who shaped as if she would need further and showed promise at Newmarket over 12f, her latest outing at Chester where she finished 7th can be forgiven on two counts, there was cut in the ground and she was hampered 2f but still only finished only 12l behind the winner that day. I will be surprised if both selections go off at the odds available tonight and have had considerable EW bets on both.

Punchestown
3:40-Harpsy Chord
Has been steadily improving over hurdles culminating in breaking his Maiden tag at Limerick the last day very easily,With 2nd having won since. Will go very close here at a nice price.
4:50-Garde Champetre
Brilliant Banks horse!Won 3 times last year and finished 2nd ti Sizing Australia at the festival who was receiving 17 pounds. Will win this.
5:30-Quevega
The Wondermare who has won 3 Mares Hurdles at the festival and this race last year. Will not lose.
6:05-Kerb Appeal
Bumper winner whose best effort over hurdles came when only beaen 2L by Marley Park over 2m6f at Fairyhouse.will go very close now trackling 3m.
Chester
2:20-Await The Dawn(NAP)
Was told by my cousin that this was a G1 horse running in a G3 when i advised it to all the fugees last year in a G3 handicap over 10f at Leopardstown. He duly hacked up by 8 lengths at some very nice odds of 9/2.They have always been excited about this horses 4 yr old career at Ballydoyle and he has only tasted defeat once in his career .Is gonna be a high class 4 yr old this year and can take this en route to bigger and better things.

Morning all,
One horse for me today and thats Lucy's Perfect in 3:05 at Newton Abbot. Won well last time out having led from the front and although its in a better race and carrys a penalty today I think she will run up a little sequence of wins.
Price should be around the 4-1 mark and will be my nap today.
Good luck all

Am I right in thinking that Goodwood was one of the tracks affected by the stalls change, and as such it now suits high drawn rather than low drawn in the sprints?

Really busy at work this week, so i will be quick. Chester 2.55 - Nathaniel 13/8 (NAP) I have been keeping a close eye on this one with the Derby in mind, he will have to win today to have any chance of going to Epsom. Best of luck all

the opening three races at Chester will be won by favs, probably at biggish distances so Chester may be worth going over depending on the spread Deeman

afternoon all. new to this board seen 606 has pretty much shut down!
Some nice betting propositions today
2.05 - goodwood - Moynahan - 6/1 NAP Backed this horse last year in may at goodwood to win and should win off a 1lb higher this year. Feel he would be on a higher mark if he didn't seem to get hampered in alot of his races. I feel if he has a clear run he wins.
5.10 - Chester - Strong Vigilance - 9/1 In great form on AW winning last 2 runs. Although AW mark lower than turf i feel he should give a great account of himself under bottom weight after finally getting his head in front this season!
few others not too original though
Quevega - For the obviously reasons all posted above
Await the Dawn - Was on when FAMOUSWISE tipped it up last year looking forward to following it this year, Ballydoyle have some exciting older horses this year!
Villareal v Porto - Falcao to score at anytime 11/8
