Some eraly picks for tomorrow as not sure how much will be about in the morning due to work
Lingfield 5.00 West Leake
Has a good record on the Polytrack, especially when partnered by Liam Keniry (6 wins together), however none of the wins have come at Lingfield, but Keniry has never been up top when the selection has run there in the past.
Nottingham 3.40 Misrepresent NAP
This John Gosden trained filly was running on well lto on its debut and finishing like a train having taken a while to get going. The step up from 7f to 1m is sure to suit judging by that performance and should go close here today.
Hamilton 6.00 Tournedos E/W
has dropped back down to weights to its last winning mark and may have needed the previous run lto. The stable are in good form and not averse to winning with big price horses this time of year.
Punchestown 4.55 Aigle D'or E/W
Will appreciate the trip and ground and can give a good showing in a competitve handicap chase. Has won over this distance in the past and forecast odds are too high to ignore.

Hello ladies and gents. Here is my first post so lets hope its a memorable 1!
4.15 Punchestown
The Hard Hat 12/1 (but hopefully looking for a drift tomorrow)
Fancy the chances of Colm Murphy's 7 year old in the huge 25 horse field tomorrow at Punchestown over 3m 6f. Was alerted to this horse back in February when I was told he had improved a lot from 6-7, and good things were expected. That day he ran here in Punchestown on heavy ground over 3m, travelled nicely for most of the race but faded towards the end and finished a fairly distant fifth. He didn't seem to stay the 3 miles, but I think that was in large part down to the ground. His next outing he was dropped back to 2m 4f and got up to win in a photo finish to beat Knockalyde Euro after a great late surge under the hand of Robbie Power. The Hard Hats jumping let him down 2 starts back, and I think this run can be discounted.
On his final outing, Colm Murphy stepped him up to 3m 1f where he ran a great race to win by 1 1/2L to Warhead, who reopposes on 3lb better terms. It looked as if The Hard Hat would win with a fair bit in hand, but idled when he hit the front. After this run the trainer stated “He wants every yard of 3 miles and he will go to Punchestown next for a staying handicap. He was a bit unlucky on his last start as he didn’t jump well."Anything bar quick ground is suitable for him. Robbie gave him a brilliant ride and he seems to be improving. He should be better over even further." which has allayed the fears I have about him staying the trip. I think he will get ideal ground tomorrow as it has been raining over here, with more rain forecast overnight. Regular jockey Robbie Power rides Jessica Harrington's Pontiac tomorrow, but I think that he didn't have a choice as his links with the stable, as opposed to choosing this horse over my selection. The capable Davy Condon takes over in the saddle, so I don't see much of a negative in this.
I personally still think The Hard Hat is well handicapped, with the rain a big plus tomorrow. The horse has won 2 of its last 3 starts, and seems to be improving with every run. Murphy believes that the step up in trip will be to the horses benefit. Although this is quite a competitive race, I think there is a lot in favour for The Hard Hat tomorrow and am hopeful of a strong showing.

Punchestown
4:15-Some Target
Finished 5th in the 4 Miler at the Festival before being pulled up the last day at Fairyhouse over 3m5f.Prior to that he had won a Grand National trial here and can go very close with Emmet in the saddle.
5:30-Hurricane Fly
winner of 10 of his 12 Hurdle starts including 8 Grade Ones. Those wins have included the Irish Champion Hurdle and this race last year.He also did what FAMOUSWISE had been predicting for 3 years when he got to Cheltenham.Cruising through the race on the bridle like the Wroth Of God and fulfilling his destiny,Everyone said he was just a hype horse,Has never ran at Cheltenham,Just beat Solwhit but the real experts of knowing what makes a truely great horse could see Starts and Trends don't matter when a horse has the talent.
6:05-So Young
Is Willies best novice hurdler and made a horrendous mistake 2 out in the 2m5f Nov Hurdle at the festival. The reopposing First Lieutenant won that race but So Young was cutting down the gap as the line approached and i expect a reversal of that form here today.
6:40-Celtic Folklore(NAP)
Won a bumper here when advised by FAMOUSWISE at odds of 5/1 barely coming off the bridle when making every post a winning post and scoring by 5 lengths.Made a winning Hurdle debut at Thurles over 2m when jumping very fluently and making all again. Will win this
Chester
2:55-St Nicholas Abbey
Brilliant at 2 but only raced once at 3 when a dissapointing 6th in the Guineas.Im prepared to give him one more chance and im hoping his lacklustre display the last day was due to the heavy ground and it being his first run for nearly a year.
4:05-Cheherazad
finished 2nd in a Maiden for unraced fillies at Newbury. That race is starting to have a solid look to it with the 5th and 6th having come out and won since.Shopuld come on for that experience and can take this maiden here.

Chester 2.20 - Glen's Diamond (Nap)
Mr Fahey and Paul Hanagan rate this one very very highly (currently best at 11/4's, i took some of the 10/3 last night), so the way it's going it may even go off favourite.
Good luck

good morning gents!
3 for today -
ST NICHOLAS ABBEY - 11/8 I think by 3pm we will realise that price was ridiculous! fine he flopped but after a long lay off on unsuitable ground at a trip probably to short i am willing to forgive the run! AOB and RM have linked up very well this week and feel this will be another winner and an impressive one at that!
Tioman Legend - 2.05 ling 6/4 Form from debut working out well should improve for the experience
Sasheen - 4.25 ling 5/1 NAP Won on first start for jeremy gask and i expect further improvement from this filly
