Morning all,
Will take a look at the cards later today and post some thoughts, but was wondering if anyone could shed some light on the 8:20pm at Kempton last night.
Had a small interest on Gallops nap Hidden Passion but there were some strange goings on in the betting prior to the race.
The favourite was backed into 7/4 right before the off and then the horse promtly escaped and race delayed while they caught it. When they finally did catch the horse it was withdrawn and they went off without it (to a rule 4 of 35p in pound)
Hidden Passion was backed in from 11/4 to 9/4 before the off, but the jockey sat motionless on the horse all the way round and did not even ask it for an effort. Not sure where it finished but was certainly not in the first three.
The winner was a 25-1 outsider (who drifted from 16-1) who came flying down the outside from way back in the field and went surging clear by 2 1/2 lengths (that looked more like a potential Group horse than Gallops nap).
Not knocking Gallop or his tip, but it all seemed very odd and very dodgy.
Be interested in views if anyone else watched the race.

Murphys, i watched the 8.25 Kempton when i got in last night and Hidden Passion seemed to be injured and was pulled up after about a furlong.

Had a very large bet on RED ALPHA 10/11 3.50 Lingfield, was flying at the finish on debut over 5f, steps up to 6f today and should win with that experence behind him.

going for the Fahey/Hanagan combo in the first at Hamilton, although I wouldn't rule out the Johnston horse either. Can't be backing that short a price fav in a 2 year old race though
