The Czech Republic are second in the Group I table, but September's home defeat to Lithuania suggests they are not the force of old.
Spain coach Vicente del Bosque is without Cesc Fabregas, Pedro and Carles Puyol, who are replaced by a couple of young World Cup winners, Javi Martinez and Juan Mata, and Athletic Bilbao's Andoni Iraola.
Milan Baros, who scores a goal every other game at international level (38 in 79), is fit again for the Czechs, but does it really matter?
Spain's record in home qualifiers is exceptional and has been so for a long time - long before they were exceptional in finals tournaments too. Since they hosted the World Cup themselves in 1982, they have won 59/65 home qualifiers. Their current winning streak is 13.
David Villa has a terrific scoring record for his country, but that is common knowledge now and you will be lucky to get evens for him to score in this match. Del Bosque's main concern going into the game is fatigue - Barcelona, Real Madrid and Villarreal are all still competing in domestic and European competitions - and Villa has not scored in five games for his club.
Four of Spain's last ten home wins have been 1-0. With del Bosque keen to do enough to win this game, but not to extend his players too much, that is the scoreline with the most appeal in the Correct Score market.
