Morning all, had a lucky esape from a huge spread loss on the old distances yesterday! I thought I would have a look at the distances between 1 and 3 at Straford.... given the small fields and the number of NRs i predicted because of the ground I decided to buy. Started ok, 2nd race was a disaster so closed out for a loss.... ended up settling nearly 50L below my first buy. Now that would have cleaned me out!!!

Am I right in thinking that Windsor bias is one of the courses affected by stall numbering changes?

Morning all, Exeter 2.30 - RHYTON 9/4 (NAP) Travelled a long way for this and the good/firm ground will be right up his street. Redcard 3.50 - INCA CHIEF 8/1 e/w Ran well in better races last season, champion jock on for in form stable, could run well at a decent price. Redcar 4.50 - DOLLY PARTON 7/4 Should take a lot of beating in this race. Towcester 5.10 - WATER ROSE 6/1 Stable has a decent record in bumpers and this one looks bred for the job today. Just going to have a look at the hunter chase at Exeter as i have had some very decent results in them this season, might be back with a selection.

Not much worth having some money on today, but for a NAP I will go with Beauchamp Viking, who goes well on this ground and will have no problem staying on up the mountain at Towcester judging by previous record there Selection runs in the 4.40.

Others of note today are
Rhyton - 2.30 Exeter - It looks like Jewellry will go off favourite, but it does seem to be a hard horse to get in front with and as such Rhyton looks like the one to be on as its line of form with Sun Tzu seems to suggest.
Double Mead - 4.30 Exeter - has taken to Hunter Chases very well and looks to rattle up a hat trick today. Not much in the field to stop this from happening in my opinion.
Van Go Go - 2.20 Redcar - For me, racecourse expereience is more important than breeding in these sort of races. Van Go Go looked good in it's previous run and Dascombe and Kingscote can team up to win the opener from a good draw.
Wisemans Diamond - 5.25 Redcar - Back down to a mark it has won off before. Also gets the ground it likes today and should come on again today for recent run out at Pontefract last week.
