Royal Wedding fever hits the shores of the UK tomorrow, so lets wish the happy couple all of the very best, and hope that we can all have a right Royal Rumble of winners tomorrow, my selections are as follows:
DONCASTER
3.35 - DEFENCE COUNCIL 3/1 broke well LTO and was there or there abouts throughtout the race and despite the draw being against him he was just beaten on the nod going to the line, with the draw advantage in his favour here he should go close again.
4.10 - ARCHIE RICE 4/1 edging my bets here for my selection to beat the well handicapped FOURTH GENERATION, my selection has been running well over the jumps recently and should be stripped fit for that, he has decent form over the distance tomorrow on the AW and turf, his best form on turf was all off a higher mark of 68 which he runs of tomorrow. The last time he ran off a mark near this (69) he started awkwardly and slowly at Newmarket but ran on strongly in the final furlong to finish 3rd.
4.45 - CLUB OCEANIC 6/5 running on LTO over 1 mile, should be all the better for that run and the extra 2f will suit, however, there is a question mark over his ability to act on turf as all of his form is on the AW. The big threat for me and better value may be BAHRAT 13/2 who was involved in a blanket finish when beaten by a SH and a neck to the uesful FIRST BATTALION and DRESSING ROOM at Windsor LTO and could go close for his new connections after leaving my selections yard (J Noseda) since then.
LEICESTER only one selection here in the 3.15 were im opting for the front running RUM KING 100/30 NAPwith the ideal draw if he breaks well he should take all of the beating, the biggest threat for me is SILVER WIND, however, the draw could be against him if my selection gets away well.
PERTH some decent fancies here tomorrow all of which go off at decent odds in the 3.15 CATCH BOB 9/2 goes unpunished for a 31l win LTO and once again has useful conditional 7lb claimer Tony Kelly on board. 4.00 GRINGO 4/1 C&D winner at this meeting last year off a 3lb higher mark, if back to his best here tomorrow he should go close. 4.35 PETIT MARGO 14/1 down to a low mark and NTD normally has his fair share of winners over the summer months up north. My selection is getting on a bit in years; however, she has ran in much better company than this tomorrow and stamina is not an issue especially off an all time low mark of 98, I think she is worthy of an EW flutter.
Good luck to all who play today and enjoy the celebrations, God Save The Queen
