Marning all, really good day for racing today and also tomorrow. Nap today, Fury (EW) @ 14-1 Newmarket 3.10 In my list of ten horses to follow for this year, he has more than an outside chance. Really impressive winner of the Tatts Million race last October, and has Johnny Murtagh onboard to steer. Should go well. Cheers, and good luck

The 2000 Guineas is all about FRANKEL; however, there is absolutely no value at all and Im going for a couple of EW fancies the first is DUBAWI GOLD @ 40/1 who ran with great credit for Michael Dods in some top races last season but improvement is on the cards now he has switched stables this certainly looked the case when he ran FTO at Lingfield, when he ate up the ground to beat some good types. A mile is just about his limits, however, i thought his best form would be over 7f. It, therefore; surprises me to see the connections aim at the Guineas, which leads me to believe hes been going well at home and could run into a place. He is certainly a speed machine with some really fast times to his record. For my second bet i will be going with FURY @ 14/1 started favourite for a Newbury maiden last year, which suggested that he was going well at home, his second win was mightly impressive showing a great turn of foot to win a valuable sales race at Newmarket. What is for sure in both of his wins to date once he got his head in front he hasnt looked like losing and pulled away well from the opposition; however, he may struggle to beat FRANKEL today. If he has wintered well he could be even better than last year and the booking of Jonny Murtagh is significant. He is certainly one for the notebook and will without doubt have his fair share of wins this year.
Other fancies for me today come from my NAG ME, the first runs in the 3.30 at Goodwood BATTLEOFTRAFALGAR who was passed to me by Stick when it was bought by Mr Attwater from the AOB yard, unfortunately i missed him at 40/1 LTO after not checking my NAG ME that day, however, he is still a decent price today at odds of 11/1 he is worth another nibble and is only raised 2lb for his win and the drop back in trip today could compensate for the 2lb rise in the weights. In the 3.45 Newmarket i am going for the highly consistent JONNY MUDBALL 12/1 NAP for the inform Tom Dascombe stable who has started the season well in particular his sprinters. Last year he boasteds some top handicap form over 6f including finishing 2nd behind Evens And Odds in the Stewards Cup at Goodwood, who he meets today on better terms for a neck. Although he has the feel of an aged sprinter he is just coming into his prime at 5yo and is lightly raced with just ten career starts. Whilst all of his best for is over 6-7f the drop back to 5f today could well be the making of him.

Afternoon Lads, NEWMARKET: Beaumont's Party (ew) 2.00Kept on gamely at Sandown on previous start. Runs off a nice mark & a nice weight, and could sneak into the despite a big step up in class. Dandino 2.00 (NAP)I was seriously impressed with his facile success at Ripon last time out. Yes it was in a weaker grade, but I think he will be difficult to beat today with ground & trip likely to suit. Mister Hughie (ew) 3.45Ran well last season despite the form figures saying otherwise. In a more suitable grade, and has ran well at the course before. Decent EW chance at big odds. Good Luck all

Great call waywardlad. I didn't go for your e/w on Dubawi Gold but did go e/w on Fury and Slim Shadey @ 200/1! It came 4th. Damn.

My lucky jockey - T Eaves, wins for me again! Albeit just a £1 bet at 14-1 but i'll take it.
Do you experts on here sometimes just do an extra small bet based on a favourite/lucky jockey without really looking at the card?
