For some people, the racing today, at Plumpton, Uttoxeter, Worcester and Leopardstown are all big events. Well folks, they fade into oblivion here in Australia. A few days ago, the Prime Minister Julia Gillard phoned to tell me that May 8 would not just be Mother's Day, but a celebration of the day that I was born, 60 years ago. Street parties are breaking out all across the country and Fly overs are all the go. Tonight I'm to be flown to the Nations capital, Canberra, where I'll be presented with chocolates and a couple of fast women. I'm in for a big day!

Cannot believe sir ian just got beat, de giles gave that a great ride up until the final few fences, instead of going clear just trying to win cosily.
wish jockeys would just do the job they get paid for instead of trying to win cleverly.
