Morning all... Hope we are all well...Thanks for the thread bucks... The weekend is high and lets hope for some good sport for our entertainment... Just as a side thread i just thought i would let you know about last nights events at Haydock... A great night out with the lads with all you could wish for... I only had 3 winners, and one of them was a 4/7 shot. Nearly all of us got some return, 6 of us went, apart from 1, Jerry. As he knows nothing about racing, horses or understands betting this became evident when we got to the 7.50 race. He hadnt hit on anything after we all tried to help him pick and choose a potential winner but we all told him that he would defo win in the next. Nahrain WILL WIN we told him. Oh right, well im off to place my bet then. To be honest the rest of the lads were going to miss it as the odds were so short, 4/7 at the time, we couldnt be bothered. So we went to the bar ordered another beer and waited. Jerry came back looking worse than before... Whats the matter pal. They wont take my bet...!!! What...!!! Why not... Well i just asked for the horse, well the number and said £2.50 e/w on number 2 please... The bookie said are you taking the piss...!!! We just fell about the place laughing our heads off... £2.50 e/w on a 4/7 shot...!!! Jerry didnt get what we were laughing at so we decided to show him... We all put £20 each into a pot, went to the scrooge of a bookie and placed £120 @ 4/7 odds... Jerry was expecting a huge return from our investment and cheered home the winner with some gusto... So my mate went to get the winnings and Jerry followed keenly behind... When he saw only a £70 return in profit between 6 the penny dropped as to why we were laughing at him... It was his only winner of the night, and he did a standard £2.50 e/w bet on each and every race... We broke about even over the night but it was a good night out with the lads again... Roll on the weekend... Now im off to find some more odds on runners @ £2.50 e/w for todays bets... Cheers...

Morning all,
A few selections for today
Market Rasen
2pm Peadar Miguel - Had a good second last time out behind Fashionable Girl, on form lines with Cygnet (the favourite in this race) I think Peadar should win this. Price currently 9/4
2:30pm Pollen Jock - Won last time out in a race over slightly further (was staying on well) Miss Andrews stays aboard and fancy this above the favourite (Andorn) at current price of 7/2
3:35pm Risaala - Tailed off on handicap debut last time (was replated before the start) and expect a far better run this time around. Has won very easily over further before and at current price of 13/2 is worth a small EW. NAP
Aintree 8:15pm Businessmoney Judi - Cant see anything else winning and current price of 2 -1 should be snapped up.
Best of luck all

dee - It was hard in the last as i has already said i fancied Maybe Some Time big time... Watching my horse flounder about 6th place and the winner being some 12 lengths clear was hard to swallow... Knew my pick was struggling when it drifted out on the screens, let alone on the course...
But two of my mates got the winner, Good Boy Jackson... looks one to keep an eye on. Prob get battered in the weights for the next though...
Next time though, always a next time...

Lets see if we can make a better fist of it today... 4.00 Sandown - Sure Route, 4/1 nap 2 last time out but it was a good performance. If gaining from that will play a big part in this race. Hughes/Hannon combo always a good one to... Also... 2.30 Market Rasen - Andorn, 15/8 3.15 York - Galley Slave, 8/1 6.00 Aintree - Need A Hero, 7/2 6.15 Good wood - Deceptive, 8/1 and a few others as the days goes by... Good luck to all today...

7.55 , I also think Club Oceanic will win , has already won at C&D , and Noseda has very good record at course. One that could get close in that race I think is , Little Black Book , Gerard Butler thinks this horse is quite useful
