17:00 Royal Ascot - THE ASCOT STAKES
DESERT SEA (33/1) E/W
Is a massive price and is my selection. Had a warm up run at Kempton in April and this has been the target for quite some time. There will be a doubt to many about whether the horse can stay the marathon trip but connections are confident that it won't be a problem. He has run decent races in The Chester Cup over a marginally shorter distance and the stable are in absolutely cracking form this season. Obviously you know that I like Junior and he is well fancied but running off 10 pounds higher than last year and a price of just 4/1, I am happy to skip over him in a competitive race.
Good Luck.

ASCOT 2.30 Canford Cliffs - thedeeman WON 11/8 3.05 Star Witness - bucks 3.05 Astrophysical Jet - degs74 4.25 Fulbright - ffctom_b 5.00 Desert Sea (EW) - gallop

MONSIEUR CHEVALIER 3.05 Ascot Watched it last time out and it was clearly not put in the race but travelled very very strongly, think its been aimed at this and the odds of 20/1 are massive in my opinion.. GET ON NOW!

Goldikova Frankel Double is far too tempting today!! 7/4 Goldikova is ridiculous for the wonder mare

i can see why everyone is in the Canford Cliffs camp but watched Goldi last night again and she's just a machine! Brits always want the champs to lose and bet on the champs to lose, Goldikova will not lose, she knows her reputation is on the line! haha

I think Hamza at 20s has good form for the last given Gatepost, Gabrial and Cravat are all entered in Group 2 races with a decent enough shout! also stonefield flier is shorter in the betting and Hamza demolished it first time out! cant understand that!

Nap today is Fulbright 4.25 Ascot, won whilst been eased down at Epsom and is great value at 14's in an open contest. Goldikova and Canford Cliffs should be an interstting battle and Frankel should win, but the e/w bet there should be Wotton Bassett based on what Fahey and Hanagan have said about this horse. The 3.05 is also an open race and three I like the chances of are Tangerine Trees, Monsieur Chevalier and Mar Ardento, all at e/w prices. Also a small e/w on Crowning Star in the last who was fancied last time out but faded in the finish and hopefully comes on for the run to get close to the places at 50's. Also going to do the placepot in the hope of a big payout, if I can stay in it

Canford Cliffs Frankel double 5/2 -- 40 wins 100 Goldi Frankel Double 2.84/1 -- 40 wins 113.60
so basically if you put £40 on each double you are guaranteed to win minimum £60!
Cant actually see why any horse will beat any of the three of these!
anyone think i'm mental?
