Southwell 3.20 - INGLEBY ARCH 9/4 (NAP)
C+D specialist who should be spot on to go in now after his come back run last time out.
Huntingdon 3.40 - TALENTI 12/1
Fist run for in form C E Longsdon yard when finishing down the field with a 10lb claimer on his back, i reckon they will be expecting a better run this time around now they have FELIX DE GILES jocked up, might be gambled, TALENTI is also 1 from 1 over C+D.

Well, I think I'll have an e/w bash on Pippbrook Ministar (currently 9/1) in the 7.40 at Kempton. Nathan Alison has the ride and is pretty much worth his 7lb claim, decent draw, stable going well and the the horse looks as though she might be getting back into the swing of things...just the usual stuff.
Putting that to one side, what is it with women and poker? They simply have no idea.
They just don't understand that when it's the lad's once a month poker night, it's not the winning that counts it's the taking part that counts. If a guy can walk away, well, stagger actually, at the end of the night knowing he gave it his all, then a wife shouldn't ask any more of her husband.
Okay, I lost a packet, but from the moment I got to the table I gave it my best and held my own for as long as possible. Basically, I couldn't have put in more effort.
Now, taking such an honourable and worthy approach to the night, it seems obvious, to me at least, that, just as a runner is exhausted at the end of a marathon, so I am going to be pretty much battered at the end of the night.
So, when I got home at two this morning, totally f***ed sideways and barely able to talk due to the exertions of the preceding hours, did I deserve the verbal kicking in the groin that I received? I think not.
Was she proud of me for seeing it through to the end when others had fallen (over) by the wayside, heads hung low and heading home knowing that fitter, more highly trained people remained in the arena? Was she? Was she bollocks.
Jeez, she really gave it to me last night.
Life is so unfair.

My NAP (which is code for "one to avoid" - I couldn't pick my nose at the moment) is The Ferbane Man in the 2.40 at Huntingdon. Likes lively ground (won 3 times on G/F over last summer) and had a nice sighter over hurdles at Ffos Las at the end of January having previously gone a "bridge too far" in the Sussex National.

Morning All
My Nap is Intyre Trail in 4.20 Southwell. It won LTO, and has won twice previously at Dundalk and will go close gain today.
